HOW TO PLAY

Game setup:

Game boards are placed 25 feet apart from leading edge. Boards are slanted back at a 55-degree angle. Each team will have four 16-ounce bean bags sized six inch by six inch.

Teams are comprised of 1 to 2 players each team. If playing with 2 players per team, one member from each team is placed at opposite boards.

Game Play:

Play begins by one team tossing their first bag to the opposite board. The other team then takes a turn tossing a bag until all bags are tossed, alternating teams after each bag is tossed. The round is over once all eight bags have been tossed. At least one foot must remain behind the leading edge of the board during play.

The team that scores the most points in a single round determines the tossing order for the next round.

Scoring:

All bags will be counted as eligible for a score so long as two corners of a team's bag are below the top line of the lower slots (1, 3, or 5 pointer), at least one corner is holding the bag on the upper shelf (10 pointer), and that no bag has bounced from the ground and onto the board. All ineligible bags for scoring will be removed prior to calculating the score for the round.

Any bag that is “covered-up” by an opponent's bag is cancelled on a one-for-one basis. I.e., If team one has two bags in the “5” slot, and team two has one bag in the “5” slot, team one will receive 5 points and the other bags are cancelled for no score.

Both teams have the opportunity to score each round so long as their bag/bags are not “covered-up” by the other team and they have eligible bags to be scored.

Winning the game:

The game winner is determined by the first team to reach 50 points at the end of a round. If both teams have scored over 50 points, the team with the highest score over 50 wins.
